Waffles
Ingredients:
1 cup Bye Bye Grain flour
½ tsp. salt
½ tsp. baking powder
¼ tsp. baking soda
2 eggs – at room temperature
½ cup + 1 Tbsp. milk or milk substitute
1 Tbsp. honey or sweetener of your choice
1 Tbsp. oil
Suggestion for equipment:
Measuring bowl 2-quart size or bigger.
Directions:
1.In a measuring bowl, whisk the flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda.
2.In a separate bowl, whisk milk, eggs, honey, and oil until combined.
3.Pour the milk mixture into the flour mixture and stir with a fork until there is no clump of flour. Allow the batter to sit for two minutes.
4.Pour the batter into the preheated waffle maker.
5.Cook the waffle until golden brown.
6.Serve immediately with any syrup or topping of your choice.
Make about 6 (4-inch) pancakes.
Serving suggestion: mix greek yogurt with chopped strawberries and scoop it onto the waffles.
